About this Mod
Summary
ScaredyVillagers is a lightweight Fabric mod that lets you configure which mobs villagers flee from and how far they flee. Configuration is done via a simple JSON file so you can tune behavior per mob without touching code.
Key Features
- Per‑mob flee distance configurable via JSON.
- Server side only — clients do not need to install the mod.
- Auto generates a default config (config/scaredyvillagers.json) on first run.
- Minimal and safe: the mixin only logs at class init; actual registry resolution and application happen after server start.
Requirements and Compatibility
- Minecraft: 1.21.1
- Loader: Fabric Loader ≥ 0.19.2
- Java: 21 or newer
- Dependencies: Fabric API
In the previous project release I mistakenly uploaded the wrong file, which caused the mod to not work. I sincerely apologize to everyone who took the time to download it.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if ScaredyVillagers consumes the most tick time.
