The Skeleton Key mod adds three new items (SCP, documentation and label) and one structure to the game.
The mod is heavily inspired by SCP-005 from the SCP Foundation Universe.

SCP-005 is an anomalous ornate key capable of opening any lock.
In this mod, SCP-005 can unlock any physical or digital lock, making it one of the most powerful and mysterious items you can obtain.

 ► Where can I find the mod content?

None of the items in this mod are craftable.  
SCP-005, its documentation, and its label can only be found inside the SCP-005 containment chamber structure.

 

► Where does the structure spawn?

The structure spawns in any Overworld biome at surface level, with approximately one structure every 3000 blocks. 

 

You can find it using /locate command

 

► What door is compatible with SCP-005?

The Skeleton Key can open any block that has the "open" property.  
SCP-005 can also activate, via redstone power, any door, trapdoor, or fence gate tagged as
"minecraft:doors", "minecraft:trapdoors", or "minecraft:fence_gates".

If you want to create a door mod compatible with SCP-005, make sure it meets these criteria.

SCP-005 can be placed by Shift + right-clicking on a block.  
Right-clicking on a door/trapdoor/gate with SCP-005 will open it. It cannot close doors; in canon with the SCP Universe, it only opens locks.

SCP-005 can open every door in Minecraft and is compatible with almost every mod.

SCP-005 can only be found inside the SCP-005 Containment Chamber/Cell.  
The structure spawns in any Overworld biome at surface level and is relatively rare.
