About this Mod

Cake By The Ocean mod adds one biome (SCP-5542), three new items (Cake piece, documentation, label), one block (CakeByTheOcean block), one advancement (discover SCP-5542 biome) and one structure to the game. The mod is heavily inspired by SCP-5542 from the SCP Foundation Universe.

SCP-5542 | Cake By The Ocean
SCP-5542 is a coast where digging underground reveals edible cake for approximately 2.5 meters.
Upon entering the biome for the first time, the “Discovered” advancement will be completed, rewarding the player with the SCP-5542 document and its label.
Digging one block beneath the SCP-5542 sand will reveal edible cake.

Cake By The Ocean Block
The “Cake By The Ocean” block is the cake block found beneath the sand in the SCP-5542 biome.
Right-clicking the block will consume a portion of the cake, causing it to gradually shrink.
Eating the cake restores 1 of hunger (half a drumstick). The block can be eaten 16 times before it is fully consumed.
Breaking the cake block will drop shapeless pieces of cake.

Piece of Cake By The Ocean
Breaking a Cake By The Ocean block will drop 16 pieces of Cake By The Ocean.
- These pieces are stackable and edible.
- Each piece restores 1 drumstick of hunger
- The block will drop as many pieces as bites remaining to finish it.

PoI-5542 | The House
PoI-5542 is a Foundation point of interest, namely the “House” structure that appears in almost every biome of SCP-5542.
Inside this house, players can find various loot and uncover strange mysteries related to the Cake by the Ocean phenomenon, including addendum documents from the SCP detailing the mysterious inspection conducted by the Foundation.
The structure spawns only in the SCP-5542 biome at surface level, with approximately one structure per biome.
SCP-5542 Documents & SCP-5542 Label
The SCP-5542 document and SCP-5542 label are given to the player upon first entering the biome.
The SCP-5542 addendum document can be found inside the PoI-5542 “House”.
The documents are readable, while the label provides information about the SCP’s classification and risk level.

Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
