About this Mod
Selective Disenchanter
Removing enchantments in vanilla Minecraft is all or nothing.
Selective Disenchanter lets you remove a single enchantment at a time using the grindstone — without destroying the rest of your item.
Simple idea. Vanilla-friendly. No extra blocks. No complicated systems.
🔧 How it works
Using the grindstone:
- 🗡️ Place the enchanted item in the top slot
- 📖 Place an enchanted book with the exact same enchantment and level in the bottom slot
- ✅ Only that specific enchantment gets removed
All other enchantments stay on the item.
⚠️ The enchanted book is consumed in the process.
💡 Why this mod exists
Sometimes you craft the perfect item… except for one enchantment.
In vanilla, removing it means losing everything.
This mod keeps the balance by requiring the same enchantment and level — you still pay a cost, but you keep control.
It feels like something the grindstone should’ve been able to do from the start.
