About this Mod

Prevents the Sharpness enchantment from affecting the Attack Damage tooltip. Sharpness still works, it just won't change the tooltip specifically anymore.

Why?

Three reasons:

Consistency with Minecraft Dungeons
Consistency with Ranged Weapon API's tooltips not being affected by Power
To give the player a "base" number for weapons in the context of BetterCombat, where different hits of a combo can have their own damage multipliers. It is harder to compare a dagger with a spear if one of them have Sharpness.

How to Install SharpnessMixin on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "SharpnessMixin". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
