About this Mod
This mod allows players to create copies of pottery sherds they find while exploring the world. Sherds are copied using a crafting recipe similar to the vanilla recipe for copying armor trims and smithing templates.

How do you duplicate the sherds?
After finding a sherd you can create a copy using a recipe similar to the vanilla recipe for copying armor trims and smithing templates. In the crafting grid put a terracotta block in the centre, the sherd to copy on top, and bricks in all remaining slots. This recipe will consume the original sherd, but you will get 4 as a result.
Is this mod server side only?
For the best experience I recommend installing the mod on both the client and server, however it is only required on the server side. If a server has this mod all clients including vanilla will still be able to join and use these recipes.

How to Install Sherd Duplication on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Sherd Duplication". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Sherd Duplication server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (26.1.2). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Sherd Duplication consumes the most tick time.
