About this Mod

This mod makes it so you can break shields that are being held by mobs, by hitting them enough times!

By default shields get broken on the 5th hit, but you can change that with the following command:

/changeshieldbreaking

Now if you have mods that make mobs use shields these cannot be spammed too much, made it mostly to make Improved Mobs less annoying.

How to Install Shield Breaking on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Shield Breaking". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
