GM Commands

GM Commands adds hidden gamemode shortcut commands to the server:

/gmsp - switches the player to Spectator mode
/gmcr - switches the player to Creative mode
/gmsv - switches the player to Survival mode
/gmav - switches the player to Adventure mode

These commands are not registered as normal Minecraft commands, so they do not show up in tab-complete and can be made to look like “Unknown command” when used. The mod detects the command text before vanilla rejects it, sends a fake unknown-command message, then changes the player’s gamemode.

How to Install Shortened Gamemodes on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set fabric Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Shortened Gamemodes". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
