About this Mod
This mod adds some cool new foods to your Minecraft world! Mess around with them! I'll include a few things in the gallery, but you can skip that part and get straight to downloading!
The foods in this mod:
- Yellow, Light Blue, and Red chocolate bars
- Mugs, hot water, and hot cocoa
- Cheese
- Salt
- Tomatoes
- Pizza (slices and pie)
- Vanilla Exctract
- Sprinkles
- Ice Cream
- French fries
- Noodles (and noodles and cheese)
- Hamburgers
This mod also adds some blocks, items, and 1 plant: the Vanilla Flower.
The block is the cheese maker, and the items are chocolate bar wrappers, salt, cardboard, a red box, and some more. This mod is mainly about food.
(Again, just like my ice cream mod, I strongly recommend using JEI. It really helps.)

Simple Foods server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Simple Foods compatible with forge?
Simple Foods officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Simple Foods – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Simple Foods consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
