Tired of digging aimlessly? The Simple Ore Detector mod introduces a tiered set of tools designed to help you locate valuable ores.
✨ Features
Detector Wand Detects ores beyond the clicked face, range depends on the tier:
- Wooden: 4 blocks range
- Iron: 8 blocks range
- Diamond: 12 blocks range
- Netherite: 14 blocks range
Prospector Block Scan the chunk and create a report containing the info about the ores in the chunk.
🤝 Compatibility
This mod checks for block with the "ores" tag. All mods that add this tag to their ores should be compatible.
This is my first mod, so it may have bugs.

How to Install Simple Ore Detector on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.8).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Simple Ore Detector". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
