Tired of endless digging in Minecraft? Use a hammer!
This mod adds hammers that function like pickaxes but in a 3x3 area which greatly simplifies resource gathering and digging in the middle and late stages of the game.
How It Works
To obtain a hammer, you must first find a new smithing template to upgrade your pickaxe. It can be found in villages: most often in the weaponsmiths, toolsmiths, and armorers houses, less often in regular houses.
Using a smithing template and a block of appropriate material on a smithing table, you can upgrade your pickaxe to a brand new hammer.

How to Install Simplest Hammers on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Simplest Hammers". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
