Simplicity

A basic, boring dependency mod needed for all of my mods from here on out. Sorry not sorry!

About this Mod

Due to my work on Spectral's Simple Sabers, I experimented with my very first dependency, and during testing, it worked perfectly. I know having a dependency for a mod is annoying, but please just bear with me here.

This Mod's Use
As of now, this mod has no use other than being a dependency for my mod Spectral's Simple Sabers, but it does come with a custom placeholder block for no reason if you wanted that.
Basically, this mod works by holding some info from my other mod and due to this, it's needed in addition to the only mod. (For some reason, the Modrinth moderation system rejected this description because I didn't 'describe it well enough,' so sorry if this seems like a no-brainer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Simplicity server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Simplicity compatible with forge?

Simplicity officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Simplicity – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Simplicity consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
