About this Mod

Slime Detector is a simple, vanilla-friendly utility mod designed to take the guesswork out of finding Slime Chunks!

This mod introduces a single, easily craftable item: the Slime Detector. It will instantly tell you if you are currently standing in a Slime Chunk. The mod also adds crafting for the slime ball itself.

It's a clean, simple, and intuitive addition to your game—no complex UIs or overwhelming mechanics. Just a quick way to find the bounce!

How to Install Slime Detector on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Slime Detector". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
