Slime Finder

Tired of having to use an external website to find slime chunks ? Slime Finder offers you an in-game method to find them.

This is a Fabric mod, but a datapack version is available (the datapack version needs the resource pack or the staff will not render correctly).

This item will glint when held in a chunk where at least 1 slime has spawned naturally in a cave.

Slime Dowsing Staff Recipe

This item can't recognize a slime chunk if no slime has ever spawned in the said chunk. In a normal playthrough, by the time you have the resources to make a Slime Dowsing Staff, every slime chunks around your base will be registered.

How to Install Slime Finder on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set datapack Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1.2).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Slime Finder". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
