sloptimizer
optimizes minecraft's startup time and resource reload time by
rewriting the solidify filter (in rust :rocket:). fixes the long aah pause
near 100% on the loading screen. requires java 25
disclaimer: you probably don't need this mod unless you're playing with 512x512+ textures
or have a lot of content mods installed. this mod's mostly a learner project on JNI/FFM,
made for myself. it probably doesn't hurt to have, though :)
benchmarks
solidifying all the cutout textures while Clayful 512x is loaded, using RedHat OpenJDK 25:

How to Install sloptimizer on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "sloptimizer". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

sloptimizer server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
