About this Mod
Smithee
HEADS UP
This mod is still in development, which could potentially lead to unwanted results.
Smithee is a mod all about different tool-part combinations. Its goal is not to be a clone of Tinker's Construct, but rather a "spiritual successor" with high customizability.
You can add new custom tool materials and change their stats all via configs.

The 3 different tool stations:
- Disassembly Table - Breaks apart the tools back to their original components
- Assembly Table - Combines tool parts into tools. Also used for embossing
- Chiseling Table - Chisel materials into tool parts (requires a chisel)
The items in the inventory are embossments used for giving additional stats to tools. You can only add 1 embossment per tool level, which is acquired by shift-right-clicking with the tool, which exchanges your XP for tool XP.

Currently supports materials from the following mods:
- Diamold

Smithee server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.16.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Smithee compatible with fabric?
Smithee officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.16.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Smithee – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Smithee consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
