About this Mod

SnapHelper is a Fabric client-side mod designed to enhance the Minecraft screenshot experience by improving the screenshot notification shown in the chat. Instead of displaying a simple confirmation message, this mod adds multiple interactive buttons that allow players to quickly access and manage their screenshots.
When a screenshot is taken, SnapHelper provides convenient buttons such as Open, File, Copy, and Path. These buttons allow users to open the image directly, open the screenshots folder in the system file explorer, copy the image or its file path to the clipboard, and perform related actions without leaving the game. This greatly reduces the need to manually navigate through folders after taking screenshots.
SnapHelper is especially useful for players who frequently take screenshots for building showcases, bug reports, content creation, or sharing images on social media. Since it is a client-side only mod, it does not require installation on servers and can be safely used in both singleplayer and multiplayer environments.

SnapHelper server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is SnapHelper compatible with fabric?
SnapHelper officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.11. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with SnapHelper – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if SnapHelper consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
