About this Mod
Soulbound
A Minecraft mod that adds a Soulbound enchantment, allowing items to persist through death and automatically return to the player upon respawning.
Features
- Soulbound Enchantment: Apply this enchantment to any item to prevent it from being dropped on death
- Automatic Item Return: Soulbound items are automatically restored to their original inventory slots when you respawn
- Smart Inventory Management: If a slot is occupied, the mod will attempt to place items in available slots or drop them near the player
How It Works
When you die with Soulbound-enchanted items:
- The mod saves all Soulbound items and their inventory positions
- Items are removed from your inventory to prevent duplication
- Upon respawning, items are returned to their original slots
- If slots are occupied, items are placed in available slots or dropped nearby
Installation
- Ensure you have Fabric Loader installed
- Download the latest release
- Place the mod JAR file in your
.minecraft/modsfolder - Launch Minecraft with the Fabric profile

Technical Details
This mod uses Mixin to inject into the game's player death and respawn mechanics, ensuring Soulbound items are handled properly without interfering with other game systems.

How to Install Soulbound on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Soulbound". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Soulbound server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.11). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Soulbound compatible with fabric?
