About this Mod

Overview

This mod let's you keep some items on death. Includes armor, tiered items (tools, weapons) and rare items.

How it works

When you open a new world the keepInventory gamerule is set to true. If you die, instead of keeping the whole inventory, only armor, tools, rare items and configured items will be kept, everything else is copied, cleared from you inventory and spawned into the world at the location you died.

How to Install Soulbound Remnants on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Soulbound Remnants". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
