Spiders On Ceiling
lets spiders cling to ceilings and attack from above instead of stucking there

About this Mod
Spiders On Ceiling is a lightweight attempt to deal with one of Minecraft’s more cursed spider behaviors: spiders climbing up under ceilings and then effectively getting stuck.
There are already mods that make spiders much more mobile, such as Spider 2.0, but that kind of full movement overhaul can come with a higher performance cost. This mod takes the more boring route.
When a spider ends up under a ceiling, it will try to move above its target and attack from there. While doing so, it appears upside down, so it actually looks like it is crawling on the ceiling instead of just having a pathfinding accident. Since version 1.1.0, spider jockeys are also handled properly: when the spider flips upside down, the skeleton rider is flipped as well and rendered underneath the spider.
The mod does not try to fully rewrite vanilla spider AI or replace the pathfinding system. It only adds a focused ceiling behavior on top of the existing spider logic, making it a lighter compromise for players who want ceiling spiders without turning every spider into a true monster.
