Description

Adds randomized Weapon Attributes to all weapons such as Crit, Fire damage, Cold damage, etc. that enhances the weapon with bonus damage and/or effects.  Each attribute has its own chance of generating on a weapon, and can mix and match.  These attributes can generate on any weapon including vanilla and modded

Note: each attribute has a chance to apply when a weapon is added to a player's inventory.  If the attribute is applied, then other properties - such as bonus damage - are rolled.  The default chance of each attribute applying is low as to not overpower weapons (e.g. 5% for fire damage).  See the Configurations section below on how to modify these chances or other config

Features

Features are pretty self explanatory, but here's a summary:

• Fire Damage: adds bonus damage and sets target on fire
• Cold Damage: adds bonus damage and slows target
• Crit Chance: chance to crit at a configurable crit multiplier (default 2.5x)
• Lightning Damage: adds bonus damage and strikes target with lightning
• Poison Damage: adds bonus damage and poisons target
• Lifesteal: heals for a percentage of damage dealt
• Explosive: attacks can cause an AOE explosion around the target
• You can reroll attributes for a weapon by placing the weapon + Lapis Lazuli in an Anvil (re-roll item and level cost is configurable)
• You can upgrade attributes for a weapon by placing the weapon + Diamond in an Anvil (upgrade item and level cost is configurable).  Upgrading will roll attributes and apply an newly rolled attributes that were better than the previous!
• Various effects such as slow/fire/poison duration can scale off of the rolled damage for the attribute.  See configuration file for more details

You can configure various settings of this mod, such as chance of each weapon attribute, bonus damage from attributes, etc.  Config file is at config/spoornweaponattributes.json5

Dependencies

This mod requires:

• Cloth Config API - https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/cloth-config

The mod is required on the server for attributes to work, and required on the client to show the tooltips with attributes.  If you have it installed server-side only, the attributes should still work, but the client won't see tooltip updates.
