About this Mod
Springboard
Springboard is a powerful library for directly transforming fabric loader.
Usage
Springboard provides an entrypoint (springboard.api.SpringboardCandidateEntrypoint), for:
- Adding extra mod candidates
- Adding to the preinit classpath
- Adding extra-early entrypoints
- Adding exclusions to the class loader (to force the class to be loaded by the system class loader)
- Adding class transformers (
springboard.tweak.classloader.ClassTransformer)
I recommend not using any classes in Springboard besides SpringboardCandidateEntrypoint and ClassTransformer as everything else is unstable.

Compatibility
Springboard is not compatible with Quilt at the moment as a Quilt implementation of Springboard would require large rewrites.

Springboard server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Springboard compatible with fabric?
Springboard officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.20.4, 1.20.3, 1.20.2. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Springboard – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Springboard consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
