About this Mod
SRIMP (REAL)
this is just a mod I made cause I thought it'd be funny
it adds a srimp mob, and not really much else (though it does have some funny though temporary additions, like the srimp tools and armor. the srimp item itself is staying, though the blocks probably won't)
HOWEVER I do have plans for the mod (which I don't think are too outlandish?)
plans
- a way to get srimp in survival mode
- a way to breed srimp
- either an integration with Farmer's Delight for srimp fried rice, or my own rice and cooking method
- more actual reason to seek out srimp (the armor and tools are temporary and not likely to be in the final game)
other than that, have fun hearing funny srimp noises

How to Install Srimp on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Srimp". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Srimp server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Srimp compatible with fabric?

Server lagging with Srimp – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Srimp consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
