Stardom's Additions
A comprehensive content mod that expands Minecraft with new blocks, entities, tools, and gameplay mechanics across all three dimensions.
Vanilla Overhauls
- Fletching Table
Now fully functional with a custom GUI. Craft upgraded arrows by combining nuggets with standard arrows. Features include:
- Input slots for nuggets and up to 3 arrows
- Automatic recipe detection
- Custom slot textures for intuitive crafting
New Blocks
Block Families
Adds polished variants, bricks, walls, slabs, and stairs for:
Calcite, Amethyst, Netherrack, Obsidian, Crying Obsidian, Ice, and Snow
Drying Rack
- A functional block for converting items over time:
- Rotten Flesh → Leather
- Kelp → Dried Kelp
- Milk Bucket → Cheese
- Ghast Tear → Dried Ghast
- Chorus Fruit → Popped Chorus Fruit
- Mushroom color swapping
- Takes 1 minute (1200 ticks) to process
- Right-click to insert/retrieve items
- Renders stored items
- A functional block for converting items over time:
Placer
- Similar to a dispenser but places blocks instead of dropping items. Activates with redstone signals.
Autumn Oak Leaves
- Three color variants (red, orange, yellow) with custom-colored particle effects.
Custom Creeper Heads
- Decorative heads for Nether and End Creepers. Can be worn as helmets or placed with rotation.
New Entities
- Decorative heads for Nether and End Creepers. Can be worn as helmets or placed with rotation.
Nether Creeper
- Spawns in the Nether
- Explosion power: 6.0 (double vanilla)
- Standard movement speed
End Creeper
- Spawns in the End
- Explosion power: 9.0 (three times vanilla)
- Slower movement speed (0.25)
Baby Creeper
- Spawns in the Overworld
- Explosion power: 1.5 (half vanilla)
- Faster movement speed and longer fuse time (50 ticks)
- Smaller hitbox (0.3×0.85)
New Items
Tiered Arrows
Progressive damage upgrades crafted at the fletching table:
- Copper Arrow (Tier 1)
- Iron Arrow (Tier 2)
- Gold Arrow (Tier 0 - baseline)
- Diamond Arrow (Tier 3)
- Emerald Arrow (Tier 4)
- Netherite Arrow (Tier 5) - fireproof
- Explosive Arrow - creates explosions on impact
Drills
Mining tools that break 3 blocks vertically (center, above, below):
Available in all vanilla tool tiers plus Emerald
Respects Fortune, Silk Touch, and Unbreaking enchantments
Proper durability consumption
Sneak to disable multi-block breaking
Emerald Equipment
Full tool and armor set with Diamond-tier stats:
- Durability: 1450 (tools) / Base 15 (armor)
- Efficiency: 12.5
- Enchantability: 12
- Protection values match Diamond armor
Food Items
- Cheese - crafted by drying milk buckets
- Ice Cream - 6 hunger, 12 saturation
- Cupcake - 2 hunger, 0.4 saturation
Ashen Bone
- A bone that replaces the bone drop for Wither Skeletons
Ashen Bone Meal
Reverse bone meal mechanics:
Grass/Mycelium → Ashen Dirt
Saplings/Azaleas → Dead Bush
Also untames wolves (applying Wither effect)
Horse Armor
- Adds Netherite and Emerald variants.
Nuggets
- Diamond, Emerald, and Netherite nuggets for crafting recipes.
Special Features
"jeb_" Rainbow Effect
- Naming any mob (except sheep) "jeb_" applies the rainbow color cycling effect.
Visual Status Effects
- Frozen entities render with blue tint
- Burning entities render with orange tint
Easter Egg
- Opening chests has a 1 in 100,000 chance to spawn a Wither.
World Generation
Biomes
Autumnal Forest - replaces some Forest biomes, features autumn-colored oak leaves
Mushroom Caves - underground biome with mycelium surface and mushrooms
Mob Spawning
- Custom creeper variants spawn naturally in their respective dimensions with balanced spawn weights.
Potions
- Potion of Decay
- Applies Wither effect for 3 minutes (3600 ticks).
- Brewed by mixing an Awkward Potion with an Ashen Bone
- Potion of Decay
Available Versions
How to Install Stardom's Additions on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.11).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Stardom's Additions". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
