About this Mod
Stellar Depths
Summary
Drift through cosmic emptiness. A space exploration mod built around scale, silence, and the unknown.

Description
Stellar Depths takes you out into the dark. Real space, real distance, real silence. You feel small out here, and the mod leans into that.
The world has its own pressure. It moves on its own, even when you do nothing. Long stretches where nothing happens are part of it. The silence is part of it. It changes how the next sound feels.
You will see strange things. Some beautiful, some not. A few will not feel right, and you will not always be told why. You are not meant to conquer this place. You drift, you notice, you keep going.
Atmosphere
The dread does not come from monsters. It comes from scale. From the dark between things. From a signal that should not be there.
Long quiet, then a flicker. The screen reacts before you do. You start trusting your instruments more than your eyes, and your eyes more than your gut, and none of them all the way.
Gameplay
Open exploration with no clear ending. Drift, look, find, leave, come back later. Some places want to be found. Some places do not.
Mechanical pieces exist to support that feeling, not to replace it. Tools, fluids, environmental systems, eventually travel and stations and stranger things. The point is always the place you are in, not the gear in your hand.
Inspirations
Real astronomy. The long quiet stretches in Interstellar. The suffocating intimacy of Iron Lung. Liminal spaces. Subtle cosmic horror that never quite shows itself.
Philosophy
Not everything should be explained. Sometimes the unknown is stronger than answers.
If you came looking for that strange, beautiful, lonely feeling of being far from home, of looking up and realizing how much you don't know, welcome.

Stellar Depths server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong neoforge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Stellar Depths compatible with neoforge?
Stellar Depths officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Stellar Depths – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Stellar Depths consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
