Still There? (AFK Screen) is a 100% Client-Side Quality of Life (QoL) mod designed to protect your computer's performance and temperature when you step away from the keyboard.
Main Features:
Smart Detection: Automatically monitors mouse and keyboard activity.
Extreme Resource Saving: After a configurable period of inactivity (5 minutes by default), the mod opens a blurred cinematic screen and throttles the game down to 10 FPS. This allows your CPU and GPU to rest, drastically reducing power consumption and heat.
Instant Restoration: click, or press any key. The mod will close instantly and restore your exact original framerate so you can continue playing smoothly.
Highly Configurable: Includes a config file (pausescreen-client.toml) that lets you decide exactly how many minutes must pass before the screen triggers.
Multilingual Support: Fully translated into English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Russian, and Chinese.

How to Install ¿Still There? AFK Screen on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "¿Still There? AFK Screen". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if ¿Still There? AFK Screen consumes the most tick time.
