Stoneworked is a building/exploration mod that adds 150+ new blocks! Perfect for someone who likes to build, as this mod offers many new block palettes!

New Blocks

Granite, Diorite, and Andesite Bricks:

Stone Brick Types

These are new decorative variants to the vanilla stone blocks that most people throw out with a whole new look! (There are also Polished Wall variants for the three stones)

Carved Stone Bricks:

Carved Stone Bricks

These variants of Stone Bricks are pretty much the same, except for the fact that they have a slightly smaller bricks texture.

Calcite Variants:

Calcite Variants

Calcite now has some new variants that are added with this mod. These include stairs, slabs, and walls for raw calcite, along with Polished and Brick variants.

Dolerite:

Dolerite

A stone found commonly in the Deepslate layer that has three sizes of decorative tiles. It is a nice black block that would look good in a kitchen build.

Ashy Stone:

Ashy Stone

A rare variant of stone that is found in the Ashen Jungle most commonly. It is found very rarely in any Overworld Biome.

Orun Shale:

Orun Shale

An orange-colored stone found in the Mountain Springs biome. It cannot be found in any other biome, but it can be found in stone Ruins.

Basalt Bricks:

Basalt Bricks

New decorative blocks for Basalt that are crafted from either Polished or Smooth Basalt. It is found very commonly in Bastions.

Soul Sandstone:

Soul Sandstone

Decorative blocks that can be made of Soul Sand of traded from Piglins. It comes in every variant that Sandstone comes in.

Marble:

Marble

A common Nether stone found in most vanilla Nether biomes. It can be made into 20+ different blocks.

Asteroid:

Asteroid Stone

An uncommon stone found in the End and in Mountain biomes. Iron ore can be found in this stone if it is in the Overworld.

Obsidian Bricks:

Obsidian Variants

These are decorative versions of obsidian. Great for making a blast-proof bunker.

Decorative Gold Variants:

Decorative Gold

These blocks are perfect for making a lavish mansion or treasure hoard. They can be found in all Bastion types.

Carpeted Stairs:

Carpeted Stairs

Wool versions of stair blocks. They will block vibrations and can be found in Ancient Cities.

Lead Ore:

Lead Ore

A new ore that is in between Iron and Diamond. It is found in any Overworld biome, with it being more common in Ashen Jungles.

Celesteel Ore:

Celesteel Ore

The End's version of copper that can be found in any End biome. Upgrade Templates can be found in End Cities, which can be used on Netherite Gear.

Polished Amethyst:

Polished Amethyst

This block set can be made out of Amethyst Blocks.

Snow Bricks:

Snow Bricks

These decorative blocks can be crafted out of snow blocks or found in Igloos. They will turn into snowballs when mined without Silk Touch.

Terracotta Bricks:

Terracotta Bricks

this block set with 68 different types can be made with terracotta of any color. Perfect for adding color to a build!

Presents:

Presents

These small decorative blocks are made out of Wool and a Gold Ribbon, which can be crafted with String and Gold Nuggets. They have one inventory slot that can hold up to 64 items.

New Biomes

Ashen Jungle:

Ashen Jungle

A very rare variant of the Jungle biome that contains smaller trees and an abundance of Ashy Stone and Lead.

Golden Plains:

Golden Plains

A common variant of the Plains biome that has more trees and trace amounts of extra Gold.

Mountain Spring:

Mountain Spring

A rare mountain biome that contains water ponds and trees. This is the only place that Orun Shale can be found naturally.

New Structure

Stonework Ruins:

Stonework Ruins

These are small buried structures found in Shrublands, Badlands, and Mountain biomes. A new Armor Trim is found here.

How to Install Stoneworked on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Stoneworked". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Frequently Asked Questions

Stoneworked server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Stoneworked compatible with forge?

Stoneworked officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.

Server lagging with Stoneworked – how to optimize performance?

Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Stoneworked consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
