Stream Status MOD

Adds a 🔴Live indicator next to players' names in the multiplayer TAB list.

📥 Installation

This mod requires Minecraft Forge 47.4.0 (for Minecraft 1.20.1).
Drop streamstatus-1.0.0.jar into your mods/ folder.
All players should install the mod for best compatibility.

⚠️ Notes

This mod is designed for streamers in multiplayer environments.
No Twitch integration (yet), status is toggled manually.
Intended to be lightweight and server-compatible.
Only tested on Windows + Java 17 environments.

🛠 Usage

Type /streamon in chat to mark yourself as live.
Type /streamoff to remove the indicator.
No GUI or mod settings — everything is command-based.

How to Install Stream Status on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Stream Status". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Stream Status server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.

Is Stream Status compatible with forge?
