Superman: Son of Krypton

Introduction:

This mod is an ongoing attempt to bring a comprehensive Superman experience to Minecraft, created entirely from scratch through prompts made to AI. This mod is what it looks like the limits of current AI are tested in making the all-things Superman mod that I invision for Minecraft.

The mod is entirely self contained and has no dependencies on any other mods.

How to get Kryptonian powers and Superman's suit:

For real ones:

Begin by looking around in the standard Forest biome for a Baby Pod Crash Site

Once found, right click the baby pod to receive a Pod Core and House of El Star Map, as well as being recognised by the Pod as the last son of Krypton and having your Solar reserves restored.

Use the House of El Star Map to receive the coordinates to the nearest Fortress of Solitude, these are found exclusively in snowy biomes.

Find the entrance side with the 9 snowy blocks in front, break the snow part on top of the middle one and use your Pod Core on it to open the doors.

From there use your new Fortress Key Crystal on the block nearest the entrance to open the solar apertures (a.k.a open roof) to allow direct sunlight onto the Genesis Crystal.

Right click the Genesis Crystal to begin Genesis Calibration (this process only works when you have opened the roof and during day time!), once this is done you will have your Kryptonian powers.

However most powers must be unlocked through training, a.k.a right clicking every other floating block in the room, before pressing the Genesis Crystal again to finalise your training and receive your suit.

As you complete each training, instructions are given on how to use each power, but in-depth controls can be found below.

Feature list:

Kryptonian Progression

Become a Kryptonian through the Baby Pod, Fortress of Solitude, Genesis Chamber, and House of El progression path.
Complete dedicated Fortress training chambers to unlock flight, vision, breath, and solar core powers.

Super Movement

Super sprinting, propulsion-based flight, hover, sprint flight, boost flight, super jumps, smooth flight transitions, water running, and high-speed terrain interaction.
Carry and throw mobs, players, and lifted objects on the ground or in the air.

Super Powers

Twin heat vision, charged strong heat vision, freeze breath, super breath, shockwave clap, solar flare, x-ray vision, kryptonite vision, night vision, super hearing, insane durability and complete invulnerability depending on Solar Energy level.

Combat and Physics

Momentum-based punches, heavy strikes, flight collisions, thrown-entity impacts, craters, shockwaves, debris, splashes, and environmental destruction.

Solar Energy System

Altitude-based solar charging, passive power gain, healing scaling, high-solar invulnerability, and solar depletion/suppression behavior.

Kryptonite System

Proximity-based kryptonite drain and damage, kryptonite poisoning, gold kryptonite functionality (permanent loss of powers), deep-world kryptonite ore generation, kryptonite x-ray scanning, and full kryptonite gear/tools/arrows with anti-Kryptonian effects.

World Content

Custom Kryptonian structures, Fortress components, chambers, crystals, terminals, solar lenses, doors, baby pod content, and related progression blocks/items.

Multiplayer Support

Synced flight states, "animations", particles, charge states, and visible ability effects for other players.

Suit and Visual Customization

Custom Superman armor model with cape and layered suit geometry, and custom kryptonite equipment visuals.

Quality of Life

Training instructions as powers unlock, progression support systems like the House of El Star Map, and developer/testing commands.

Sprint while moving: Super sprint
Jump while sprinting on ground: Super jump
Jump, then Jump again mid-air: Activate flight
