About this Mod

Survival Expanded

Description

Survival Expanded is a vanilla-style mod which adds many new features, including:

  • 5 new structures
  • 1 new boss
  • 3 new weapon types
  • 3 new enchantments
  • 2 new potions
  • 7 more new potions for vanilla effects
  • 1 new command
  • 1 new mineral
  • A weapon upgrade system

Here I will try to explain some of these features.

Structures

Trading Post

Trading posts are wooden towers which are found in plains and other similar biomes. They have villagers living in them and have 2 chests in the top, containing mostly emeralds and enchanted leather armor.

Captured Trading Post

Captured trading posts are trading posts which have been captured by illagers. They are very dangerous, but have better loot than normal trading posts.

Ruins

Ruins are the remains of ancient structures. They are rare and are found in most biomes. They have 2 chests with low-quality loot.

Ruins

Desert Dungeon

Desert dungeons are massive structures which spawn deep under desert biomes. They have a huge amount of loot, but they have many monster spawners and a new kind of skeleton.

Desert Dungeon

Evoker Tower

Evoker towers are stone towers which appear in plains and other similar biomes. They have high-quality enchanted loot and a new boss, the Archevoker, spawns in the top of the tower.

Weapons

Weapons

Daggers

Daggers are very cheap to craft. They deal low damage but have a very fast attack speed. They also have a new enchantment, Bloodthirsting, which gives them a lifesteal ability.

Greataxes

Greataxes are expensive to craft, have extremely high damage, and a slow attack speed.

Warhammers

Warhammers are the most expensive weapon type to craft. They have a slow attack speed and lower damage than greataxes, but they can hit multiple mobs with a critical strike.
They have a special enchantment called Bludgeoning which boosts the damage of the critical strike attack.
