Swap Chaos

Swap Chaos is a fast-paced, highly disruptive Fabric mod designed to turn your Minecraft server into an unpredictable free-for-all. Every few seconds, the entire world goes through a massive Chaos Swap, completely scrambling player inventories, chest contents, and even player locations!

Whether you're doing a chaotic manhunt, a crazy survival challenge, or just trying to annoy your friends, Swap Chaos guarantees that nothing stays yours for long.

Features

Global Item Scrambler: Every set interval, all items in every online player's inventory, hotbar, and loaded chests are grouped into a massive pool and randomly shuffled back out. Your Diamond Pickaxe might suddenly become a piece of dirt, while your dirt ends up in a random chest 100 blocks away!
Strict 1-to-1 Swapping: Don't worry about items vanishing or chests becoming empty. The mod strictly swaps items between occupied slots. If you have 10 items in your inventory, you will always have exactly 10 items after a swap—they'll just be completely different items!
Armor-Only Pool: Nobody wants 64 cobblestone equipped on their head. Armor slots have their own separate scrambling pool, meaning helmets will only swap with other helmets, boots with boots, etc.
The Shared Enderchest: The concept of private storage is gone! Every single player on the server shares the exact same, unified Enderchest inventory. And yes, its contents are scrambled into the chaos pool too!
Location Swapping: Just when you thought you were safe, the chaos timer hits zero and your physical location (and dimension!) is instantly swapped with another random player on the server.
Smart Loot Protection: The mod respects exploration. Naturally generated chests in structures (like dungeons or villages) are completely ignored by the scrambler until a player opens them for the first time. Unlooted treasure stays exactly where it belongs!

Commands

Control the chaos seamlessly in-game with simple commands (requires permission level 2 / OP):

• /swapchaos start <seconds> - Starts the chaos loop with a custom interval (e.g., /swapchaos start 15 will swap everything every 15 seconds).
• /swapchaos start - Starts the chaos loop with the default 10-second interval.
• /swapchaos stop - Instantly halts the chaos.
