About this Mod
TakeShow is a lightweight, vanilla-friendly expansion mod that adds depth to underdeveloped Minecraft items through small, readable mechanics—focused on exploration, mining, and defensive counterplay. 🧪✨
This mod is actively being developed, and all features listed below are already functional in the current version. Balance and details may still change.
What it adds
- Echo-style utility 🧿: short “ping” effects to help you locate nearby threats/targets in caves or darkness, with clear feedback (particles/sounds) and built-in trade-offs (cooldowns / temporary drawbacks).
- Mining assistance ⛏️: tools that can briefly reveal/highlight hidden ores (ores not exposed to air) after normal block breaking, keeping it exploration-friendly rather than full X-ray.
- Defensive counterplay 🛡️: enchantments/effects that punish attackers or add shield-based reactions, improving close-range survivability.
- Light progression 🎯: a small set of advancements that guide first-time use.
Notes
- Multiplayer 🌐: recommended on both client and server for full experience.
- Dependencies 🧵: Fabric Loader + Fabric API.
- License 📜: GPL-3.0.
