About this Mod

Enhance your survival playthrough with Talismans!
Talismans offers the simplicity of attribute-enhancing trinkets with the complexity of in-depth mechanics. Discover these ancient relics and learn to manipulate them to bring your strength to new heights!

Talismans adds several new items and systems to the game, including:
- Talisman - a trinket that provides attribute buffs when equipped in the offhand. They contain an extractable "Core" than houses the effects and potency of the Talisman.
- Omnislate - a special trinket that can be combined with multiple Cores of the same level to create an item with multiple attribute bonuses.
- Rune Cipher - an ancient transmutation table used for transforming Talismans, Omnislates, and their components.

Combine, split, and transform items!
The Rune Cipher provides a novel way to interact with Talismans. As a new and stylish block, it fits in with any crafting setup.
Rune Ciphers are very similar in design to Enchanting Tables, but don't be alarmed by their appearance; they are very easy to get in the early game as they only require Copper as opposed to Diamonds.
As the transmutation system may seem a little overwhelming, here's a quick guide that covers all the key points of transmutation in succinct detail:
Note that certain features highlighted in this section may change as the datapack receives updates in the future.

- Updated Overworld loot tables containing Talismans, Omnislates, and Rune Splitters
- A new advancement tree to monitor progress
Add Talismans to your world to give it the extra progression it needs! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to message wisoven on discord!
