The Need For Better Pies

For years gone by has pumpkin been the king of the pies in Minecraft. Long forgotten are classic pie ingredients, such as apples, cocoa beans, or sweet berries. This shameful neglect of delicious possibilities needs to end. The mod offers the solution to this tragedy. Oh, but simply righting past wrongs is not enough. Players of Minecraft deserve more! And this mod delivers.

Features

• Adds blueberry and blackberry bushes naturally generated in appropriate biomes throughout the world.

• Adds seven new varieties of pie, including apple, sweet berry, blackberry, blueberry, cheesecake, cherry pie, and chocolate mud pie.
• Adds six flavors of ice cream to go with all the delicious new pies.

Bonus Feature

Each of the new fruits can be used to craft dye. Four cherries yields a red dye, nine blueberries a blue dye and nine blackberries a black dye.

Finding The Sweet Goodness

Cherries

Cherries have a chance to drop when the leaves of a cherry blossom tree are broken or decay.

Blueberries

Blueberry bushes naturally generate in wind swept forests, wind swept hills, wind swept gravelly hills, taigas, old growth pine taigas, old growth spruce taigas, snowy taigas, and snowy slopes. Harvest blueberries from the bushes by right clicking on a bush, or break a bush for a single blueberry.

Blackberries

Blackberry bushes naturally generate in savannas, wind swept savannas, savanna plateaus, and wooded badlands. Harvest blackberries from the bushes by right clicking on a bush, or break a bush for a single blackberry.

A Good Ol' Snack

CHEESE! Craft it with four buckets of milk in a small square. It's edible by itself, but you might find another use for it too.

Cooking Up Something Delicious

Pies

Players can bake two main types of pie. You'll have to experiment to find the recipes.

Fruit Pies

Craft fruit pies with sugar, wheat, and a flavoring agent.

Custard Pies

Craft custard pies from sugar, an egg, and a flavoring agent.

Ice Cream

For ice cream you'll have to work a little harder. Craft ice cream from sugar, milk eggs, a flavoring agent, and, you guessed it, ICE!
