The Frozen World is a Mod I wrote with the program MCreatore. It adds a New Dimension to the game: The Frozen world.
The Currently adds 6 Biomes:
- Frozen Forest,
- Frozen Jungle,
- Frozen Plains,
- Ice Coast,
- Ice Ocean,
Permafrost Mountains
How to get Here?
First you have to find a "Pillager Underpost", which generates in the biomes:
- Plains
- Snowy Plains
- Snowy Taiga
- Old growth pine Taiga
After that, you have to craft the "Frozenword Portal Igniter". You can use this to open the portal.
Survival guide:
In the dimension you will be greened with a bar at the top left of the screen, This shows how warm you are at the moment. The bar will drop off quickly and you will feel the effects shortly after. To get warmer, you have to take two sticks and hit them together.

How to Install The Frozen World on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "The Frozen World". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

The Frozen World server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is The Frozen World compatible with forge?

Server lagging with The Frozen World – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if The Frozen World consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
