About this Mod
The moon has fallen, Earth is next...
We were fools for believing our sun was a star. It was a hole in the universe the plague used to attack us. It came from the sun, and wanted to take as much as it could. It attacked Mercury, but there was nobody there to protect it. It attacked Venus, and there was nobody there to protect it. But when it came to Earth, the people were ready to fight. The plague lashed out in all it's fury, but the Earth never fell. The plague was too far from the Earth to attack it successfully, and the plague retreated back to Venus. 4 years later, they struck again. This time, they sent the attack in waves, to drain the humans of their supplies. But they were too far, and they couldn't send a continuous attack. The plague fell back to Venus. The third time, the plague had a new plan. They would attack the moon, as it was uninhabited. From there, they would launch a continuous attack. 2 years later, they launched their attack on the moon, and the humans had no idea. They attacked the Earth with all they had, and the attack lasted 108 days. At the end, the humans had lost the war, and were hunted to extinction. All but 1 player was killed. The last one is the only one who can free the moon. That player is you.
The plague of the moon adds a scary new monster who will stalk the player from far away. It only spawns at night, and will stalk the player the whole time. If you provoke it, it will often flee. But be careful, he might attack. He will not stop chasing until one of you has died or the sun has risen. You can't outrun him.
Phases:
- Watching - While watching, the entity will stare at the player from a distance. It will not move, and can be as far as 6 chunks away
- Stalking - While stalking, the entity will watch the player, and will try to get as close as possible. It will typically be only around 30-40 blocks away
- Fleeing - While fleeing, the entity will run from the player and try to despawn. It has a chance of fleeing whenever the player gets too close
- Attacking - While attacking, the entity will charge and try to kill the player. It has a chance of becoming aggresive if the player gets too close, or will randomly enter the attacking phase.
