About this Mod

Welcome to the Polarite Mod, a mod that adds a new water-only ore with magnetic properties, along with a new tool type called the Hammer. Explore the vast possibilities of this mod, from redstone contraptions to fun new combat forms, TPM offers the player a small but intriguing addition to the vanilla game of Minecraft.
POLARITE

This new ore would be easy to find, as it can generate at any positive y-level and any biome, if it wasn't for its unique spawning conditions that require it to be touching water. Due to this, the easiest way to find this shiny red-blue is through the depths of the ocean. Once you find it, all you need is a stone pickaxe, and you can get Raw Polarite, which can be smelted into an ingot.
TOOLS & ARMOR:

With this ingot, you can obviously craft a Block of Polarite and a Polarite tools & armor set, but additionally to that, with a Polarite ingot surrounded by Stone blocks in the crafting table, you can craft Magnetstone, a new block that interacts with Polarite magnetically.

This block is attracted to Block of Polarite, and with this magnetic dynamic, you could do anything from moving these blocks around to using observers to make complex redstone systems and farms.
HAMMERS

Hammers are a slowburn multi-tool for those who prioratize slower but stronger weapons, like the axe, but deadlier. These have low attack speeds, but deal insane damages that reach up to 11 healthpoints, or 5.5 hearts of damage with the Netherite Hammer. The Hammers may seem like a random addition to the mod, but they directly interact with Magnetstone. If you hit one with a hammer, it sends a shockwave that stuns entities, making them immoble for a small amount of time, and launches the player away, allowing for a good combat/movement mechanism. The higher tier a hammer is, the stronger the shockwave it generates with the Magnetstone.
