This mod is a horror mod based on "The Broken Script" and "no_moon.jar".
It does not do anything to your pc! The mod is about a player who got possessed by an entity. You can read the story if you want.
This mod adds:
- 3 NEW ENTITIES
- 2 NEW EVENTS
- 2 NEW BLOCKS
The Entities:
- TV Dude
- Corrupt (ranzz)
- The Seeker ("It was smiling..." -Story)
- DhHs (next update)
- Alternative (next update)
- 6leg (not confirmed)
The Events:
- Camera Shake
- Chat Spam
- Kick (ONLY ONCE!!!)
- Time Change
- Dimension Teleport
The Blocks:
- Corruption (unbreakable, all over the map)
- Hell Floor (unaccessible)

STORY
Spoiler!!
On February 22, 2020, a player named "ranzz" downloaded Minecraft.
He made a world. Everything normal.
As usual, everything in the world is beautiful.
Until...
He gathered resources, made a house and entered a cave.
He found coal, iron and gold but... No diamonds?
That is very weird. Ranzz said:
- No diamonds? I have been mining for so long! Meh, maybe next time.
And logged off for the day.
The next day, he logged back on!
He mined, mined, mined until Y Level -32.
He heard a loud slam echoing from far away.
He was terrified... But he also wanted to know what made that sound.
So he started mining in the direction where the sound came from.
And when he was there, he saw nothing.
But suddenly he saw a player-shaped entity for a single frame.
It was smiling.
Ranzz was so terrified and ran out the cave:
- What was that..?
And 5 seconds later, a distorted music started to play.
After that, he was kicked:
"ERROR: 0"
He joined back and heard the slam again.
But it was louder.
It escaped.
Available Versions
How to Install The Seeking on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "The Seeking". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

The Seeking server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is The Seeking compatible with forge?
The Seeking officially supports forge for Minecraft 1.20.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with The Seeking – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if The Seeking consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
