About this Mod
The Shadow Tapes is a psychological horror mod that transforms Minecraft into a place of dread, silence, and unseen watchers. Strange entities lurk deep underground, stalking players from the shadows. They do not attack immediately — they observe. You may never see them, but you’ll feel them. The deeper you go, the stronger the presence becomes.
This mod introduces a growing sense of paranoia through ambient effects, eerie sounds, and subtle environmental changes. Creatures are designed not just to hunt, but to haunt — following players silently, appearing briefly in the distance, and vanishing before they can be confronted. Their behavior is unpredictable, their motives unknown.

How to Install the Shadow Tapes on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "the Shadow Tapes". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
