About this Mod
🗼 The Towers
The Towers is a minigame where teams of players compete to score a maximum of points by entering a pool inside their enemy's base.
The Towers is one of the minigames made for the Nucleoid Project, an effort to build an open source ecosystem for server-side Minecraft minigames.

Installation
The Towers can be installed on a client or a server. As this is a multiplayer minigame though, it is recommended to install it on a server.

- Plasmid: GitHub / Modrinth
- Fabric API: GitHub / CurseForge / Modrinth
Usage
To start a game of The Towers, use /game open and browse the list of available game modes.

How to Install The Towers on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "The Towers". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

The Towers server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is The Towers compatible with fabric and quilt?
The Towers officially supports fabric, quilt for Minecraft 1.20.1, 1.20, 1.19.4. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with The Towers – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if The Towers consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
