About this Mod

This mod simply uses mixins to allow players to use Thermal Expansion/Series blocks on Valkyrien Skies ships.

Without out it (as of its release date) the screen of a machine will appear for a few frames then dissapear, as there is a hard coded distance restriction. In this mod we get around said restriction by replacing the distance checking call with a safe alternative from VS, such that ships are included in range calculations

Eventually this mod may additionally offer control of VS ships using thermal expansion, it does not currently, however.

How to Install Thermal Skies on Your Server

Order Server

Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).

Set forge Loader

In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).

Install Mod

Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Thermal Skies". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Thermal Skies server crashes on startup – what to do?

Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
