About this Mod
A Wizarding World mod made by a true fan
You can show me a random picture or page out of the entire Harry Potter series, and I'll be able to tell you exactly which book it's from and what was happening at the time of the picture/page's events! So I will not produce a mod that I know does not line up with the series 👍🏻
Keeps Minecraft the same
The mod practically has nothing now, but even when it does have some things... I won't create trolls or dragons or stuff that will essentially break the feel of Vanilla Minecraft. All the mod's additions will be homages to the Harry Potter series that can be utilised by a player in many different situations...
Clear spellcasting mechanics
I don't like functional but impractical mods, who would stop and open their spellbook in the middle of an intense PvP fight? My spells are cast in one of two ways: right-clicking and left-clicking. That's it.
"How would the mod have more than two spells?", you may ask. I would answer: More wands!
One OP Elder Wand per world
Although that's not implemented yet, the Elder Wand will require that its owner has the Dragon Egg, ensuring that only one Elder Wand circulates a Minecraft world!

The Wizarding World officially supports neoforge for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with The Wizarding World – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if The Wizarding World consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge. With Mado Hosting, your server runs on NVMe SSDs with dedicated CPU cores for minimal latency.
