This mod (jokingly) adds newton's third law to minecraft! When you throw an item or shoot a projectile you get pushed back with (un)realistic force!
About this Mod
This mod makes it so when you throw items or shoot projectiles, it throws you backwards!
Most unstackable items as well as projectiles have custom values, but most other items do not have a non-default value! This should be datapackable, so if you'd like to do that, or add modded blocks/items that have non-default values you can!
This mod adds 3 gamerules to control the knockback, you can enable/disable both item and projectile knockback, as well as whether being in the air is required!
Projectile knockback also affects mobs such as pillagers, blazes, and skeletons!

How to Install Third Law on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Third Law". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Third Law server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Third Law compatible with fabric?
Third Law officially supports fabric for Minecraft 1.21.1. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Third Law – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Third Law consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
