About this Mod

Anyone who is still on v1.0.0, please update to v1.0.1 otherwise your anvil isn't gonna work.

Description

This mod allows you to throw your axes.

Usage

When your attack is not on cooldown, you can hold the use button to charge, and release it to throw.

The longer you charge, the faster it travels, and deals 60%~150% of the axe's damage.

Each throw consumes 1 durability.

You can see the axe's outline within 5 blocks.

Attribute

A new attribute is added for one of the enchantments.

Vulnerability

This attribute increases all damage taken by the entity.

Enchantments

This mod adds 5 new enchantments to enhance the throw. Unless otherwise stated, the enchantments only apply to axes.

Bonding (Max Level I)

You can see the axe's outline within 40 blocks, and your movement speed is increased by 15% when you are moving towards it.

If you stop moving towards it, the speed boost will gradually decay over 1 second.

Impact (Max Level IV)

After hitting an entity with a thrown axe, the entity will suffer from 6/9/12/15% slowness and 12/16/20/24% vulnerability for 8 seconds.

If the axe misses and hits an object, entities within 8 blocks from the axe will suffer from half of the slowness for 4 seconds.

Well Prepared (Max Level V)

The axe gains 2/3/4/5/6 tokens. Every time you throw your axe, a token will be consumed and you will not lose your axe.

After picking up an axe thrown by this enchantment, the corresponding axe recovers a token.

Incompatible with Mending

Mastery (Max Level III)

The time required to charge up to the throwing threshold and b are both reduced by 0.05/0.1/0.15 seconds.

You can start charging when your attack cooldown reaches 80/65/50%. The charge slowness penalty is reduced by 20/35/50%.

Your axe will only lose 1 durability when it's used as a melee weapon.

Sniping (Max Level III)

Applies to: Ranged weapons
Description: When you shoot or throw a projectile and hit an entity outside 15 blocks, the longer the distance between the shoot/throw position and the hit position is, the more damage the projectile deals.

The compatibility between this mod and other mods are not tested.

You can only throw axes, sorry, I only feel like doing throwable axes for now. Or maybe swords on a good day, we'll see.

This mod will not be backported to older versions until I finally figure out how the rendering works.

This mod is currently for Fabric only.
