A collection of mons inspired by the Cthulhu Mythos and other Lovecraft works with some of my own little freaks thrown in every now and then.

About this Mod
Elder Pokémon: Exceptionally strong Pokémon that surpass the normal strength of most legendaries.
Nyarlic Zombies: Infected Pokémon tend to vary from their base counterparts in some way but can sometimes just be visual variants.
Secret Pokemon: Undiscovered Pokémon that don't appear in the Pokédex. These are often weak-to-middling trophy Pokémon meant to be discovered through experimentation and have hints in the gallery.

A custom starter.json is present within the zip file. If you do not know how to use custom starters please ask someone in the Cobblemon Discord and not me, please and thank you.

How to Install Toon's Mons [Cobblemon] on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set datapack Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the datapack loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.4).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Toon's Mons [Cobblemon]". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Toon's Mons [Cobblemon] server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong datapack version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 3 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.21.4). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Toon's Mons [Cobblemon] compatible with datapack and fabric and forge and minecraft and neoforge and quilt?
Toon's Mons [Cobblemon] officially supports datapack, fabric, forge, minecraft, neoforge, quilt for Minecraft 1.21.4, 1.21.3, 1.21.2. Note: Forge and Fabric mods are NOT cross-compatible – pick one loader and stick with it. The Mado dashboard automatically detects incompatible loader combinations.
Server lagging with Toon's Mons [Cobblemon] – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 4 GB (per 8 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Toon's Mons [Cobblemon] consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
