TorchPlaceMod
This mod allows you to place a torch from your inventory by right clicking while holding a weapon or tool in your main hand.
About this Mod
This mod lets you place torches in the world by simply right-clicking with a tool or weapon is in your main hand. So long as you have torches in your inventory, and the block you're clicking isn't interactive, a torch will be placed. Perfect for placing torches while on a long mining session, and no more needing to place torches in your off hand leaving your shield unusable.
This mod will now move forward only for Neoforge. This is a complete re-write of the mod, making the code simpler behind the scenes. By default it will avoid placing torches on items with a GUI, such as a chest or a crafting table. The mod now uses tags to determine if the item you are right-clicking with is a tool or weapon, but you can add your own tag sets in the config file for other mods that do not register their items under the default tags.
The mod looks in your inventory for vanilla torches and will place them. It will not work with other modded torches at this time. If you feel inclined, donate to [email protected] on PayPal. All feedback is appreciated and/or ignored. This mod can be used in any modpack so long as you refer back to this site for all downloads in any documentation.
