This is the Stormchasers mod! For those who have long wanted to start intercepting tornadoes without clunky workarounds or stripped-down gameplay. If you are that kind of person, my mod gives you that opportunity! Several types of interceptors are available, and there will be more added over time. Tornadoes look beautiful without consuming a lot of PC resources! Excellent optimization and the best gameplay are guaranteed. Plus, crafting recipes are available for all items in the mod, making it fully survival-friendly!
Mod Features and Keybinds
Radar / Weather Map: You now need to craft or equip a Laptop from your inventory to open the radar!
E — Aim your cursor at the vehicle to get in.
Q— Deploy (anchor) the vehicle so you don't get blown away by the tornado!
R — Scan the tornado with a probe to get the wind speed and EF category (only works if the vehicle is deployed).
L — Turn on the headlights in your vehicle!
Space — Get out of the vehicle!
Main Mod Commands
The core command for the mod is /t7m:
/t7m spawn tornado
/t7m spawn supercell — Creates a supercell that can spawn a random tornado!
/t7m stop all — Instantly deletes all tornadoes.
/t7m stop nearest — Deletes tornadoes within a 2000-block radius.
/t7m aimtoplayer — Makes all tornadoes move toward your current position.
/t7m list — Displays a list of all active tornadoes!
Available Versions
How to Install Tornado7 on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 4 GB RAM (6 GB recommended).
Set forge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the forge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.20.1).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Tornado7". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Tornado7 server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong forge version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors. With Mado Hosting: ensure at least 4 GB RAM is allocated and the loader matches the mod version (1.20.1). You can switch loaders with one click in the panel.
Is Tornado7 compatible with forge?

Server lagging with Tornado7 – how to optimize performance?
Recommended RAM: 6 GB (per 5 players). Use /spark profiler to check if Tornado7 consumes the most tick time. Common fixes: reduce server view-distance to 8-10, install "performant" or "starlight" as supplementary mods on Forge.
