About this Mod
Totem No Shading is a simple Minecraft mod that removes directional shading and block and sky lighting effects to Totem of Undying items. Holding totems in either hands, worn on head (through commands), or on the ground will render said items to full brightness.
Totem No Shading is a subset of Simply No Shading (SNS), concepts and technologies thereof aided in realizing this mod. The creation of issue 119 for SNS at Github requests supporting selective application, specifically the Totem of Undying item; at that time there was no clear way to implement this. After SNS' entity shading now exiting its experimental phase, the aforementioned issue was reconsidered and now released as its separate mod, Totem No Shading.

How to Install Totem No Shading on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set fabric Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the fabric loader and matching Minecraft version (26.1-snapshot-9).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Totem No Shading". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.

Totem No Shading server crashes on startup – what to do?
Most common cause: wrong fabric version or insufficient RAM. Check the server log (latest.log) for "OutOfMemoryError" or "Mixin" errors.
