This project provides a balanced alternative to the “keep inventory on death” mechanic. Instead of fully preventing item loss or allowing abuse, it introduces a simple rule: when a player dies, a Totem of Undying is consumed and the player returns to their spawn point.
It helps prevent experienced players from exploiting instant returns, while still protecting beginners from losing all their items.

How to Install Totem of Homing on Your Server
Order Server
Order a Minecraft Java server with at least 3 GB RAM (4 GB recommended).
Set neoforge Loader
In the panel under "Egg", select the neoforge loader and matching Minecraft version (1.21.10).
Install Mod
Open the mod browser in the dashboard and search for "Totem of Homing". Click "Install" – done! Alternatively, upload the .jar via SFTP to the /mods folder.
