About this Mod

Totem of Unlosing

Totem of Unlosing

Supported ver: 1.21.1

Brief Description

This mod adds a totem that lets you die but keeps your items for you.
It also preserves your experience points, though you will lose more than you would during a normal death.

How to Obtain

  • Rarely found in Ancient City chests.
  • Rarely dropped by Evokers instead of a "Totem of Undying."

Detailed Specifications

  • If you die while holding a fresh totem, the totem activates and preserves your items.
  • Once a totem has protected your items, you can open it by right-clicking while holding it.
  • Upon opening, your items are converted to recreate the inventory exactly as it was when the totem saved it. Any items you were holding at the moment of opening will be scattered around you.
  • If you already have a "filled" totem in your inventory when a new totem activates, the old one will automatically open and its contents will be saved into the new totem.
  • The totem can save up to 60 slots worth of items; any items exceeding this limit will be dropped upon death.
